Whether cold or warm, summer or winter, one item remains seemingly impermeable to the changing seasons- the suit. Not counting shirting or neckwear, suiting remains constant in the different weather. Although there are plenty of options available for colder (tweed and heavy wool) and warmer (linen, cotton, etc.) climates, a 3-season wool suit will help you escape anywhere in style (probably explains why James Bond is so often seen in one).
That being said, when the temperatures drop, layering is a perfect way to make a suit even warmer. Even though 3-piece suits are always a nice way to go, I chose to make mine a 3-piece via an odd vest. The heavy wool vest worked perfectly and blends well with the navy and pink.
